After an awesome mountain biking afternoon with my buddy Timone, we drove the 9 miles out the dirt road and were greeted by these mountains and puffy white clouds.  They reminded us at that moment, that life, indeed, was spectacular.

On Monday the sun was setting behind a sheet of translucent clouds.  The whole world was glowing orange.  It was completely mind-blowingly beautiful.  

I snapped a self portrait in that beautiful light.  

I decided afterwards that the light was more fitting for a female than a male face, so I added some sepia to make me look a bit more manly and rugged. 

I actually really like how it came out.
